with the exception of the day that happened, 0911 didn't really had much affect on me until this morning. i don't remember was this song was out yet during that time, but the lyrics definitely fitted how i felt in 2001. she went back home for the summer and i wasn't sure if she was able to come back to start 2nd year of school. i just got out of the military and was called back to stand-by for activiation. i remember watching the footage from the news, and suddenly hit me that we are all too small. no matter how prepare you are, when disaster hits, you can't do anything.
as i woke up this morning, i routely turn the TV on to check the weather. not realizing it's been five years, the news channel was broadcasting the memorial service at the place where the two buildings used to stood. and in 3 mins, that's when it all happened five years ago. in 3 mins, that's when every single one of us, our lives had changed five years ago. how did your life change?
